Recognition of the doctoral degree and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad*
Through this procedure, only within the Pentecostal Theological Institute of Bucharest, the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained abroad are recognized.
The procedure applies to Romanian citizens, citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and third countries, who have obtained the title of doctor in accredited higher education or research-development institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, in prestigious universities from other countries listed in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by Order of the Minister of National Education no. 5462/2018, or who are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.
The procedure applies only for occupying a teaching position or a research position within the Pentecostal Theological Institute of Bucharest
Only in the case of temporary exercise, the provisions of Law no. 200/2004 and art. 296 from LEN no. 1/2011 apply directly. Reserved, vacant, or temporarily vacant teaching positions are filled with priority by the tenured teaching staff of the institution or by associated teaching staff.
The exercise of the rights conferred by the status of doctoral supervisor and the occupation of a teaching position in the Romanian education system are carried out according to the legal regulations in force.

Automatic recognition of teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad*
Through this procedure, only within the Pentecostal Theological Institute of Bucharest, the teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited institutions abroad by Romanian citizens, citizens of European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation, and third countries are automatically recognized at:
a. accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;
b. prestigious universities from other countries listed in the List of Prestigious Universities from Other Countries, approved by the Order of the Minister of National Education no. 5462/2018, and updated periodically;
c. other accredited higher education institutions abroad, other than those mentioned, only based on an international mutual recognition agreement concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.
Only in case of temporary exercise, the provisions of Law no. 200/2004 and art. 296 from LEN no. 1/2011 apply directly. Reserved, vacant, or temporarily vacant teaching positions are to be filled with priority by the institution’s tenured teaching staff or associated teaching staff.
Occupying a teaching position in the Romanian higher education system is done according to the legal regulations in force.
