Transmitting the file for granting social assistance (VMG)*
Social assistance is granted based on a request and a declaration on one's own responsibility, accompanied by supporting documents regarding the family composition and income earned in the month prior to the submission of the request by its members.
Required documents for the file (copies):
– request and declaration on one's own responsibility;
– identity documents of the applicants;
– birth certificates of the children;
– marriage certificate or family booklet;
– final decision approving the adoption, family placement of the minor, according to the law;
– document proving the applicant's status as guardian or curator;
– documents showing that a family member attends a form of education;
– documents showing classification as persons with severe or accentuated disabilities or degrees I or II of invalidity, for dependents;
– certificate attesting that they are registered with the county employment agencies or the Bucharest municipality for employment, and that they have not refused a job or participation in the services for stimulation of employment and vocational training offered by these agencies.
– net income earned (in the month prior to the request) and the supporting documents are those mentioned in the application form (certificates regarding net salary, pension slips, unemployment assistance, state allowance slip, etc.);
In the case of consensual union (cohabitation), considered as the beneficiary family, documents regarding the family composition and income for the applicant's partner will also be presented.
