Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for recognition of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant required in other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives, and Medical Assistants in Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the professional recognition of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU member states, states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented.Where applicable, attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for issuing the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the appropriate documents, are submitted through PCUe to the county branch/the Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired the status of member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified via the PCUe system. Within 15 days of notification, the applicant is required to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
Recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the specialized structure level of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
