In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives, and Nurses in Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian qualifications of general nurse, midwife, and nurse, in the other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse, in the other EU Member States consist in the preparation and issuance of documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of other EU member states, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 regarding the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented. As the case may be, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for issuing the documents necessary for professional recognition of the mentioned Romanian qualification titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are transmitted via PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant DOES NOT have the status of member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified via the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the required documents. If the applicant does not meet the completion deadline, at the end of this period, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drawn up at the level of the specialized structure of OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, they will be sent online to applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR to which they submitted the electronic file.
