In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates etc.) necessary for the professional recognition of the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and medical assistant in the other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and medical assistant in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles in accordance with the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented. As the case may be, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online requests for the issuance of the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county branch/the Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT obtained the status of member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial jurisdiction the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the completion deadline, after its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drawn up at the level of the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
