Certificate of conformity of studies
The procedure provides for the modality of issuing Certificates of conformity, according to art. 36 of Law no. 200/2004, to applicants holding diplomas/titles/certificates attesting training and professional development in the dental technician profession, obtained in Romania, who wish to practice the dental technician profession in the member states of the European Union, European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation.

Procedure regarding the recognition of the professional qualification of dental technician obtained in third countries, in case of permanent settlement, for the purpose of access to the profession of dental technician in Romania*
The procedure is applicable in case of settlement on Romanian territory, for professional qualifications obtained in third countries by:
a. citizens of EU, EEA, and EFTA member states (including Romanian citizens)
b. family members of a citizen of an EU, EEA, or EFTA member state
c. long-term beneficiaries of resident status granted by one of the EU, EEA, or EFTA states
d. citizens of third countries, beneficiaries of permanent resident status in Romania.
Persons who fall under points b, c, d will also provide a copy of the documents attesting the mentioned status.

Procedure for the recognition of professional qualifications
The procedure is applicable in case of settling in the territory of Romania, for professional qualifications obtained in an EU, EEA, EFTA state by:
a. citizens of EU, EEA, and EFTA member states (including Romanian citizens)
b. family members of a citizen of an EU, EEA, or EFTA member state
c. long-term beneficiaries of resident status granted by one of the EU, EEA, or EFTA states
d. citizens of third countries who are beneficiaries of permanent resident status in Romania.
Persons falling under points b, c, d will also provide a copy of the documents attesting their mentioned status.

Certificate for attestation of current professional status
This procedure provides the method for issuing the Certificate of Current Professional Status Attestation to OTDR members. The validity of the certificate is 3 months from the date of its issuance. This document is issued only to dental technicians registered with OTDR.

Signing up in the Order of Dental Technicians in Romania
It is carried out for the purpose of access to the profession of dental technician on the territory of Romania and is addressed to dental technicians who wish to practice the profession on the territory of Romania, Romanian citizens, citizens of EU member states or citizens of third countries.
The procedure is subsequent to the recognition of professional qualifications obtained in other states.
