Suspension of membership*
The suspension of membership status occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits a request at the territorial College headquarters, respectively the Salaj Pharmacists' College, requesting the suspension of membership status. When requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and fulfill the condition of continuous professional training through a total of 40 EFC hours during the respective period.
The pharmacist is obliged to inform the Romanian Pharmacists' College within 30 days of resuming activity.
Request for Current Professional Certificate*
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for preparation and issuance of the Current Professional Certificate was established by National Council Decision of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be prepared by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receipt of the request for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application form for preparation and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receipt of the application, C.F.R. will prepare the certificate and forward it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate will be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will create it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will prepare a Register of records – with identification data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and will deliver them to the applicants with signature of receipt.
The fee for issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, in the amount of 100 lei, will be paid into the account of the territorial College RO45BRDE410SV26208314100.
To obtain the Current Professional Certificate, the pharmacist will submit to the territorial college a file which will include the documents attached below.
Request for transfer to another branch*
Request for transfer to another branch of the College of Pharmacists in Romania.
*Issuance of duplicate member certificate*
In the event that the holder loses, in any way, the Certificate of Membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, a duplicate will be issued to them upon request. In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate Certificate of Membership of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the College of Pharmacists of Bucharest, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents listed below.
*Registration in the College of Pharmacists of Romania*
Resumption of membership*
The resumption of membership is based on an application, which the applicant, the pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, namely the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, by which they request the resumption of membership starting from a certain date.
*Enrollment following a transfer*
Enrollment in the territorial college following a transfer from another CFR branch.
