University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca*

The present procedure establishes the way by which the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca recognizes the doctoral diploma and the doctoral degree in sciences obtained abroad. The procedure respects the principle of legality, university autonomy, transparency, responsibility, ethical and deontological norms in force.

Through this procedure, the quality of doctoral supervisor or habilitation obtained in an accredited foreign university listed in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, or in accredited institutions of higher education subject to an international mutual recognition agreement concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level, is automatically recognized within USAMV Cluj-Napoca. It applies to citizens of a Member State of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation. Only in the case of temporary practice, the provisions of Law no. 200 of 2004 and art. 296 of Law no. 1 of 2011 shall apply. The exercise of the rights conferred by the status of doctoral supervisor or habilitation shall be carried out in accordance with the legal norms in force.
