Adventus University from Cernica*

The procedure establishes the method by which, at the request of the data subjects, the Adventus University of Cernica (UA) recognizes the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained at:

a) accredited higher education or research and development institutions from an EU, EEA, or EC member state;

b) accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by Order no. 5462/2018 and periodically updated;

c) accredited higher education or research and development institutions subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation Framework;

c) citizens of third countries.

The recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained abroad based on this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the Adventus University level and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) occupying, for a fixed term, vacant teaching positions, as an associate teaching staff;

b) participating in a competition for filling a vacant teaching or research position within UA – with indefinite employment;

c) enrolling in postgraduate programs;

d) obtaining habilitation.

The procedure establishes the rules and instructions by which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by Adventus University in Cernica (UA) of the university teaching positions obtained in:

a) accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;

b) prestigious universities from other states included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by order of the relevant minister and periodically updated (Order no. 5462/2018);

c) other accredited foreign higher education institutions than those mentioned, only based on an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at the intergovernmental or inter-university level.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, within the Swiss Confederation;

c) citizens of third countries.

Recognition of the teaching position under this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) occupying, for a determined period, vacant teaching positions as an associate teaching staff member;

b) participating in a competition for occupying a vacant teaching position within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;

c) participating in competition committees for occupying vacant teaching and research positions within UA.

The procedure establishes the manner in which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by Adventus University in Cernica (UA) is carried out for the status of doctoral supervisor or habilitation obtained at:

a) accredited higher education institutions from an EU member state, EEA, or EC;

b) accredited higher education institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by Order no. 5462/2018 and periodically updated;

c) accredited higher education institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

Other situations not mentioned above do not fall within UA's competence and are subject to recognition and equivalence by CNRED.

The procedure applies to:

a) Romanian citizens;

b) citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation Framework;

c) citizens from third countries.

Recognition of the status of doctoral supervisor/habilitation under this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:

a) participation in competition commissions for filling teaching and research positions within UA;

b) participation in a competition for filling a vacant teaching position within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;

c) filling a teaching position as an associate teaching staff member.
