Persons interested in obtaining the authorization of sign language submit to commission for authorization established within the Directorate Protection of the Persons with Handicap a file containing the application, a copy of the identity document, the document indicating the training in sign language organized in Romania and , or non-certified translation into Romanian of the document issued in a Member State of the EU or EEA.

Persons interested in obtaining the authorization extension of sign language interpreter submit to the commission for authorization established within the Department Protection of the Persons with Handicap a file containing the application, a copy of the identity document (if the civil status has changed), the document indicating the training in sign language for at least 6 months and criminal record.
