Granting educational incentive in the form of social vouchers for kindergarten*
Social tickets for kindergarten are granted to children from disadvantaged families who participate in activities organized within preschool education units and who are at risk of both dropping out and not attending preschool classes, due to limited access to economic resources and education. The minimum monthly nominal value of the educational stimulus, granted as social tickets for kindergarten, is 100 lei/month.
According to art. 2 of Law no. 248/2015, amended and supplemented by Law no. 49/2020:
(1) Educational stimuli are granted to children from families who have established the right to family support allowance granted based on Law no. 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, regardless of whether the family is currently receiving KPpayment or if this right is suspended.
(2) By way of cockpit from para. (1), the educational stimulus is also granted to children in the care of the person who was appointed by the parent for the maintenance of the child, during the absence of the parents, according to art. 104 of Law no. 272/2004 regarding the protection and promotion of the rights of the child, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, if the income per person, including the child in care, does not exceed the maximum income level for granting the family support allowance.
The educational stimulus is granted ex officio, for the situation provided by art. 2 para. (1), as appropriate, together with the establishment of the right to family support allowance, or after its granting, to the person who is also the holder of the family support allowance
