Home heating aid*
According to GEO 70/2011, with subsequent amendments and completions, the heating aid for the home is a support measure, covered from the state budget, intended for vulnerable consumers with incomes up to a threshold established by law, and which aims to fully or partially cover the expenses for heating the home.
This is granted for a period of five months between November 1st of the current year and March 31st of the following year.
The aid is granted for consumers of centralized thermal energy, electricity, natural gas, and wood.

State allowance for children according to Law 61/1993 regarding the state allowance*
The state allowance for children is granted to all children up to the age of 18, Romanian citizens, without discrimination, as well as to young people who have reached the age of 18, who attend high school or vocational education courses organized under the law, until their completion.
Beneficiaries of the state allowance for children are Romanian citizens, foreign citizens, as well as stateless persons resident in Romania, under the law, if they live together with their parents.

Granting the allowance/incentive for raising the child*
Persons who meet the internship conditions, according to the law (have earned 12 months in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth, taxable income or have been in assimilated internship periods, may optionally benefit from the following rights:
Leave for raising a child up to 2 years old, respectively 3 years old in the case of a disabled child, as well as a monthly allowance.
Persons who, during the period they are entitled to benefit from parental leave, obtain taxable income have the right to an insertion incentive.

Social vouchers within the project "Gift from the heart for seniors"*
In accordance with HCL 71/2019 regarding implementation at the level of Brașov Municipality, social vouchers in the amount of 100 lei/person are granted to persons of legal retirement age, women - over 63 years, men - over 65 years, with a monthly pension up to 1,000 lei, twice a year, on the occasion of Christmas and Easter holidays.

Family support allowance*
By Law no. 277/2010, the allowance for family support is established as a form of assistance for families with low incomes who are raising and caring for children up to the age of 18, hereinafter referred to as allowance.

Social housing*
According to Law 114/1996, families and single persons with an average monthly income per person, obtained in the last 12 months, below the level of the average net monthly salary for the total economy, communicated by the National Institute of Statistics in the latest statistical bulletin prior to the month in which the analysis is made.
Access to social housing is granted to persons and families who have been evicted or are about to be evicted from homes returned to former owners, young people up to 35 years old, persons with disabilities, etc.
In order to resolve requests regarding the allocation of a social dwelling, the commission established by the HCL will analyze the applications submitted during the year, and afterwards the allocation list will be drawn up.
Persons who own the following cannot benefit from social housing:
- car or motorcycle less than 10 years old;
- 2 or more cars;
- own a home;
- have transferred ownership of a home after January 1, 1990;
- have benefited from state support in credits and construction for the realization of a dwelling or are renting another home from the state housing fund.
