Granting the allowance for child raising*
The allowance for raising the child up to 2 years old, or 3 years old in the case of a child with a disability, is a form of support to which are entitled persons who, in
the last 24 months prior to the child's date of birth, have obtained for 12 months income from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities subject to income tax according to Law no. 571.2003 regarding the Fiscal Code, with convention and subsequent amendments - taxable income, or have been in one or more situations called assimilated periods. Either parent of the child may benefit from this right, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided that they meet the eligibility criteria.

Granting allowance for family support*
The family support allowance is a form of aid for low-income families who are raising and caring for children up to the age of 18 and is granted by order of the mayor of Ticvaniu Mare commune.
The provision of the family support allowance aims to supplement the income of families in order to ensure better conditions for the upbringing and education of children, as well as to encourage the attendance by school-age children, under the care of low-income families, of forms of education organized according to the law, in accordance with art.1, par.2 of Law no. 277/2010 on the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions;

State allowance for children*
The state allowance for children is granted to all children up to the age of 18, without discrimination. The state allowance for children is also granted to young people who have reached the age of 18 and are attending high school or vocational education, organized under the law, until they finish, except for those who are repeating the school year, with the exception of those who repeat for health reasons, proven with a medical certificate.
Children of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are residents, under the conditions of the law, in Romania, are also entitled to the state allowance for children, if they live together with their parents. This right can be requested by any of the child’s biological parents, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
