In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives, and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, drafts and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States.
The activities of certifying the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant, in other EU Member States consist of drafting and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of the other EU member states, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and completions. Depending on the case, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of the documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are sent through PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT obtained the status of member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days of notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the deadline for completion, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drafted at the level of the specialized structure of OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
