The firm is a mandatory element of identification and individualization of PFA licensed natural persons / Individual enterprises II / IF family enterprises. The company is, as the case may be, the name of the civil status, respectively the name under which the professional authorized natural person PFA / Individual enterprise II / The IF enterprise carries out its activity and distinguishes it from any other professional registered in the trade register. The verification and reservation of the company is carried out at national level prior to the drawing up of the constitutive documents or, in case of change of name, of their amending acts, and the filing of the application for registration at the National Trade Register Office.

The company represents a mandatory element of identification and individualization of professional legal persons (companies, European companies based in Romania, autonomous administrations, national companies and national societies, cooperatives societies, agricultural cooperatives, credit co-operatives and central houses thereof, European Cooperative Society based in Romania, economic interest groups, European groups with economic interests based in Romania, other legal entities specifically provided by law). The company is the name under which the professional legal person operates the activity distinguishing him from any other professionals registered in the trade register. The application for company name reservation is submitted to the Trade Register Office (directly at the counter or through correspondent or by the online services portal http://portal.onrc.ro) and related formalities are in reservation guide LP. Proof of reservation for company name shall be issued on the same day in which the application submitted the request reservation for company name, no later than the day following its filing. Fees and tariffs must be paid at the counter, by postal order or payment order. The Application for registration in the trade register and the application for authorization of the legal person (Limited Liability Company, etc.) shall be submitted to the Trade Register attached to the court of the county where the applicant establishes its headquarter (directly at the counter, through correspondence or by the online services portal http://portal.onrc.ro); the specific formalities are in the reservation guide for the legal person. Registration in the trade register of a legal person (Limited Liability Company, etc.) is based on the motivated resolution of the Director of the Trade Register Office by the Law Court. The deadline for issuing the certificate of registration is 3 working days, calculated from the date of the request for registration or, where applicable, the date of completion of the application with the required documents. • between 101 and 1,000 companies: 30% reduction;
