Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse required in the other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse in other EU Member States.
The activities for certifying the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse in other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of other EU Member States, states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the purpose of professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented. As the case may be, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online requests for the issuance of documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian qualification titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county/ Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. In case the applicant has NOT acquired the status of member of OAMGMAMR, the request is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial jurisdiction he/she resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
Recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialty structure of OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants via PCUe by the OAMGMAMR county branch where they have submitted their electronic file.
