Rights of persons with disabilities*
Ensuring access to social assistance services for all people in difficulty, developing the social services system, respecting the rights of the child both in the family and in the protection system, developing the network of social services at the community level, improving and diversifying forms of support for people with disabilities, supporting people seeking employment, preventing the separation of the child from parents, support for young people in the institutional system, family placement for integration into normal social life.

Granting the child raising allowance*
The allowance for raising children up to 2 years old, or up to 3 years old in the case of a child with a disability, is a form of support to which are entitled persons who, in the last 24 months prior to the child's birth, have earned income for 12 months from salaries, income from independent activities, income from agricultural activities subject to income tax according to the provisions of Law no. 571/2003 regarding the Fiscal Code, with its subsequent amendments and completions - income subject to tax, or have been in one or more of the situations referred to as assimilated periods. Either of the child's natural parents can benefit from this right, as well as the person who has adopted a child, provided that the eligibility criteria are met.

Granting the guaranteed minimum income*
Social assistance is granted monthly, as a supplement to the family's or single person's net monthly income, to ensure the guaranteed minimum income. The payment of social assistance is provided by the Vaslui County Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, from the budget of the Ministry of Labour and Social Justice. For amounts granted as social assistance, one of the adult persons in the family must perform, monthly, actions or works of local interest for all family members, without exceeding the normal working regime; failure to fulfill this obligation results in the suspension of social assistance payment, and if this obligation is not fulfilled within 3 months from suspension, the payment of social assistance ceases.

Granting aid for home heating*
Families and single persons who have a monthly income of up to 750 lei per family member and use natural gas, electricity or solid fuels for heating the home - Romanian citizens, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons with domicile or, as applicable, residence in Romania, established under the conditions of Romanian legislation;
Families who have a monthly income of up to 786 lei per family member and single persons who have a monthly income of up to 1,082 lei and use thermal energy for heating the home, as well as foreign citizens or stateless persons with domicile or, as applicable, residence in Romania, established under the conditions of Romanian legislation.

Granting the allowance for family support*
The family support allowance is a form of aid for low-income families who are raising and caring for children up to 18 years of age who are attending a form of education according to the law and which is granted by the decision of the mayor of Zapodeni commune.
The granting of the family support allowance aims to supplement the income of families in order to provide better conditions for raising and educating children, as well as to encourage school attendance by school-age children in the care of low-income families, attending courses in a form of education organized according to the law, pursuant to Art.1, para.2 of Law no. 277/2010 regarding the family support allowance, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.

Granting educational incentive in the form of social vouchers for kindergarten*
The social tickets for kindergarten are granted to children from disadvantaged families who participate in activities organized within preschool education units and who are at risk of both dropping out and not attending preschool classes, due to limited access to economic resources and education. The minimum nominal monthly value of the educational incentive, granted in the form of social tickets for kindergarten, is 50 lei/month.
The social ticket for kindergarten is granted to children from disadvantaged families, provided that all of the following criteria are cumulatively met:
- the child is enrolled in a preschool education unit, and the monthly income per family member is up to twice the level of the guaranteed minimum income for a single person, as provided by Law no. 416/2001 regarding the guaranteed minimum income, with subsequent amendments and completions.

Granting state allowance for the child*
The state allowance for children is granted to all children up to the age of 18, without discrimination. The state allowance for children is also granted to young people who have reached the age of 18, who are attending high school or vocational education courses, organized under the law, until they finish them, except for those who repeat the school year, except for those who repeat for health reasons, proven by a medical certificate.
Children of foreign citizens and stateless persons who are residents, under the law, in Romania, also benefit from the state allowance for children, if they live together with their parents.
This right can be requested by either of the biological parents of the child, as well as by the person who has adopted a child, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
