Issuance of membership certificate of the Cluj College of Physicians*
- The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial college of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose area the applicant physician, as the case may be, has their domicile/residence or workplace/unit where they are to carry out their activity. - The certificate of membership of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request, to the persons provided in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 on health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, according to art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 on health sector reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any case of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice as a physician;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years.

Issuance of Current Professional Certificate*
The issuance of the Current Professional Certificate is based on Decision 14/2018 of the National Council of the Romanian College of Physicians.
The current professional certificate is issued by the Romanian College of Physicians, through the territorial college of the R.C.P. of which the physician is or was a member, the data being valid for the period during which the physician is or was registered in the respective college.
If the physician was a member of the RCP in two or more territorial colleges, he or she will obtain a current professional certificate from each of these colleges.
For the issuance of the current professional certificate at the request of the titular physician, the following documents must be submitted to the competent territorial college:
a) standard application form;
b) proof of identity (certified copy “true to the original” of identity card/passport);
c) proof of payment of the fee to the account of the territorial college issuing the document, the amount being set by each territorial college through a Council decision.
The documents can also be sent by postal or courier services, as well as by electronic means with digital signature.
The document will be issued within a maximum of 30 days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.
The current professional certificate is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
