Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles as general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant required in other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, drafts and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in other EU Member States.
The activities for attesting Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in other EU Member States consist of drafting and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented.Where applicable, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the relevant documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county/ Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR to which the applicant is a member. In case the applicant has NOT obtained membership of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the territorial branch of OAMGMAMR in whose area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or if it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified via the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the deadline for completion, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drawn up at the level of the OAMGMAMR National specialized structure, and within 90 days from registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR to which they submitted the electronic file.
