Online issuance of certificates/recommendations for the recognition of Romanian qualification titles for general nurses, midwives, and nurses required in other EU Member States*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, draws up and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States.
The activities of certifying Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of other EU member states, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and completions.As appropriate, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted via PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT obtained the status of OAMGMAMR member, the application shall be submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in the territorial area where the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or if the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from contrification to, the applicant is required to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant fails to meet the deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of transcribed files, they will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR to which they submitted the electronic file.
