This procedure, code ACD-26, establishes the rules and responsibilities regarding the recognition by “Danubius” University of Galați of a doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained abroad for the purpose of enrollment in post-university programs, obtaining habilitation, or occupying a teaching or research position.

Appeals against the non-recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences by UDG shall be submitted within 15 calendar days from the receipt of the decision. The appeal formulated by the applicant will be analyzed and resolved within a maximum of 30 days from the date of registration, by an appeal commission appointed by the Rector of UDG, consisting of experts in the applicant's doctoral field.
The University consults, if necessary, CNRED and CNATDCU. The evaluation report of the appeal commission will be discussed by the UDG Board of Administration, which will issue an irrevocable decision at the UDG level. The result is sent to DRU, which will communicate it to the applicant.
