According to OG 24/2011 art 28 para 5, natural or legal persons who are authorized valuers and have the citizenship or nationality of a Member State of the European Union or a state belonging to the European Economic Area may practice as authorized valuers also in a temporary or occasional manner. In this situation, the authorized valuer is exempted from the procedure of registration with the Association.

The profession of authorized evaluator is regulated by Government Ordinance no. 24/2011 and is found in the annex list to Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.*
