This procedure describes how individuals, Romanian citizens, can request certification based on an exam for carrying out the activity of technical expert in quality in construction in Romania. The technical quality expert carries out their activity in one of the following forms: - employee of a legal entity that has technical quality expertise activities in construction provided in its statute, in compliance with legal provisions - authorized, as a natural person, to carry out activities independently - employee of the investor, according to the law. The right to practice is proven by the valid ID card issued by the competent authority together with the certification.

Regulated professions: The profession of certified technical expert is found at position 10 in Annex no. 2 to Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and completions.
