Extending the validity of the practice of the technical expert in construction

This procedure describes how specialists - natural persons, certified as technical experts in construction, can extend the validity of their practice rights. The technical expert carries out their activity in one of the following forms: - employee of a legal entity whose bylaws specify technical quality verification activities for projects, in compliance with legal provisions; - authorized, as a natural person, to conduct activities independently; - employee of the investor, according to the law. The right to practice is proven by an ID card within its validity period, issued by the competent authority together with the certification attestation.

Decisions regarding the profession of certified technical expert can be challenged before Romanian administrative courts, respecting the material and territorial competence, as well as the deadlines established by art. 7 and art. 10 of the Administrative Litigation Law no. 554/2004, with subsequent amendments and completions.
