Operational procedure regarding the recognition at "Eftimie Murgu" University of Reșița of teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions from abroad*

Within UEMR, teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other countries included in the “List of prestigious universities from other countries,” approved by MENCS Order no. 5.462/2018 and periodically updated, are recognized.

The provisions of this procedure apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.

Teaching positions obtained at other accredited higher education institutions than those mentioned above are recognized only based on a mutual recognition agreement concluded at the intergovernmental or interuniversity level.

For the recognition of teaching positions obtained abroad, UEMR may collaborate with the National Center for Diploma Recognition and Equivalence (CNRED) and the National Council for Attestation of University Titles, Diplomas, and Certificates (CNATDCU).

The appeal against the rector's decision shall be registered within 48 hours from the date of its issuance at the Rectorate of UEMR or through the single electronic contact point. The decision of the appeals resolution committee shall be issued within 72 hours from the date of registration. Subsequently, the university's final decision may be challenged in court.
