The certificate for the marketing of products from the agricultural sector is valid for 7 years and is issued upon request to the applicant by the mayor within whose jurisdiction the land/farm/household where the products estimated to be intended for marketing are obtained is located, within 5 working days from the date of the request, after verification of the existence of the producer's certificate, factual verification in the field of the existence of the product/products subject to marketing, and after obtaining the consultative opinion from one of the professional/employer/trade union associative structures in agriculture or from the territorial entities under subordination or coordination, established under the law for this purpose, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Several marketing certificates may be issued upon request.*

The producer certificate is issued by the mayor within 5 working days from the date of the request, with the consultative opinion issued by one of the professional/employers'/trade union associative structures in agriculture, as applicable, constituted in accordance with the law and organized at local/area/county/regional/national level, which are registered at the town halls of communes, towns, municipalities, or sectors of the Municipality of Bucharest and which nominate at least one representative for this purpose, or, in the absence of the opinion from one of the professional/employers'/trade union associative structures in agriculture, by the subordinate or coordinated territorial entities, established under the conditions of the law, for this purpose, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. In the case of issuing consultative opinions by one of the professional/employers'/trade union associative structures in agriculture, they are obliged to transmit the records of consultative opinions issued to the county agricultural directorates and that of the Municipality of Bucharest.*
