This procedure describes how individuals, citizens of another member state of the European Union or the European Economic Area, can request technical-professional certification, based on an exam, in order to provide project verification activities for constructions in Romania. The construction project verifier carries out their activity in one of the following forms: - employed by a legal entity that has technical quality verification activities for projects provided in its statute, in compliance with the legal provisions; - authorized, as a natural person, to carry out activities independently; - employed by the investor, according to the law. The right to practice is proven with the valid identification card, issued by the competent authority together with the certification document.

Regulated profession: The profession of certified project verifier is listed at position 9 in Annex no. 2 of Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, with subsequent amendments and additions.
