This methodology establishes the way in which the recognition is carried out, within the "Eftimie Murgu" University of Reșița (UEMR), of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens from Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries, who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad in accredited higher education institutions in the Member States of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and in prestigious universities from other states included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states," approved by OMENCS no. 5.462/2018 and updated periodically.

Appeal routes

The appeal against the rector’s decision is registered within 48 hours from the date it is issued, at the UEMR Rectorate or through the single electronic contact point. The decision of the appeals committee is issued within 72 hours from the date of registration. Subsequently, the final decision of the university may be challenged in court.
