The finding of contraventions and the application of sanctions are carried out by ascertainment agents empowered for this purpose by the president of ANRE, according to the provisions of Law no. 123/2012, with subsequent amendments and additions.
The ascertainment agents of ANRE, depending on the seriousness of the established act, may propose the following complementary sanctions: a) suspension of the status of authorized installer, for a period of up to 6 months; b) withdrawal of the status of authorized installer, with the right to re-apply for a new examination after a period of 3 years; c) withdrawal of the status of authorized installer, without the right to re-apply for a new examination.

The appeal against the decision to suspend/withdraw the status of authorized installer is submitted by the person concerned to ANRE, within 30 days from the date of communication of the ANRE decision.
ANRE resolves the appeal according to internal procedures, the decision being final. The ANRE decision can be challenged in the administrative court, according to the law. Sanctions are recorded in the electronic register of badges.
