It is drawn up by the group of producers or processors and contains: a. the application for registration for obtaining the protection of the designation of protected origin PDO/protected geographical indication PGI/guaranteed traditional specialty GTS b. the association act c. a declaration on own responsibility that the group represents the producers or processors from the geographical area delineated in the specification sheet d. the specification sheet e. the single document f. data, written documents or other evidence to highlight the connection with the geographical area g. data, written documents, bibliographic references or other evidence showing the historical connection of the product with the geographical area h. socio-economic data – current production – estimated quantity for 5 years – current and potential number of clients for each segment of the product chain: production, distribution, marketing – current and estimated geographical destination of the product for 5 years – current and estimated economic situation for 5 years i. color map of suitable size to allow precise delimitation of the production area or established borders j. copy of the contract concluded with a private body for the inspection and certification of agricultural and food products for the verification and certification of the accuracy of the data included in the specification sheet k. other data and information showing the need for obtaining the protection. It is submitted to MADR by interested entities and is accepted if they meet at least one of the following conditions: 1. demonstrate non-compliance with the conditions regarding systems in the field of quality of agricultural and food products 2. demonstrate that registration of the proposed name would be contrary to art. 6 of the Regulation 3. demonstrate that registration of the proposed name would prejudice the existence of a wholly or partially homonymous name or a trademark, or the existence of products legally on the market for at least 5 years 4. specify elements indicating that the registration is generic Annex no. 2 and Annex 2 to ORDER no. 1762/2015*

The national logo is used for the purpose of identifying on the market agricultural and/or food products that have obtained national protection under quality systems and guarantees that products bearing this logo meet the following conditions: a) are produced on the territory of Romania and are marketed in accordance with provisions regarding the marketing of agricultural and food products b) are certified by an inspection and certification body recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development c) are protected on the national territory, according to the provisions of Order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development no. 1.762/2015 Annex 4 to ORDER no. 1762/2015 and Annex 4 a to ORDER no. 1762/2015*
